Dr. NG first practised as an interior designer in residential and commercial projects and as a set designer in Radio Television Hong Kong. Then she joined the Curriculum Development Institute (Visual Arts) of Education and Manpower Bureau as Project Co-ordinator in curriculum design and teaching materials. Later she attained substantial experience in teaching, exhibition, programme management and revalidation, dissertation guidance and curriculum planning in various colleges. Her thesis is about environmentally-friendly design in hotel industries. Other papers include commodified images of wedding packages, needs assessment of design students.

TTat-keung, Andy TAM (Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Hong Kong art critic and cultural industry researcher) Graduated at the University of the Arts London, Wimbledon College of Art (UAL). Dr Guido ALVAREZ

Guido Alvarez was born in Cuenca, Ecuador where he obtained his BFA in crafts and graphic design from Universidad Del Azuay.
At 28 he was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to study a MFA in Visual Communication and Design at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. 
He has served roles as assistant professor of Design, Art, Animation, and Photography for several institutions in USA, Ecuador and China. He has also served as program director in Quito, Ecuador.
In 2015 Alvarez completed his PhD with research focused on cyborg theory and hyper-reality. He then moved to China to work for Wenzhou-Kean University as well as online instructor of Design Thinking and Innovation for Laureate Education Corporation.
His research interest focuses on cross-cultural and multilingual communication design as well as in experiential learning.

Dr Oksana Kryzhanivska

Oksana Kryzhanivska holds a Ph.D. in the Computational Media and Design and a Master of Fine Arts in sculpture. Her Ph.D. research at the intersection of art, design, and computer science resulted in publications and exhibitions at the international conferences ISMAR, ISEA, ICME, The Image, and ACM MM. Oksana’s responsive multi-sensory installations have appeared in numerous public exhibitions and have been featured in the Canadian Art Magazine (2017). Additionally, Oksana exhibited in top tier Canadian art museums, the Art Gallery of Grande Prairie and The Nickle Arts Museum.
Her interests include tactile interaction, embodiment, motion, non-verbal communication, perception, manufacturing process, aesthetic experience, touchable art, haptic technology, projection with anamorphosis, mixed reality, virtual sculpture, artificial intelligence in art, 3D printing, coding, sensory feedback, and electronic art.

Dr. Yuan received her Master’s degrees in University of Edinburgh and Ulster University in Design and digital media, and Communication, Advertising, and Public Relations respectively. She received her PhD degree in Communication studies in Hong Kong Baptist University in 2017 and participated the PhD student exchange programme in Lund University (Sweden). She was the lecturer in Beijing Normal University Zhuhai Campus. The research experience, conference participation, teaching experience including Final Year Project supervision may enhance the teaching and research. She specializes in new media studies and culture industry research.

Dr. Huang’s teaching and research reflect her interests in Digital Media, Graphic Design and Communications. After a MA in Digital Media at the University of Sussex, she did a PhD in Communication at the University of Macau under the supervision of Prof. Tony Schirato. Dr. Huang currently teaches courses in Graphic Storytelling; History of Media Arts and Design; Art Media Fundamentals. Dr. Huang’s research papers have appeared in international academic journals, as well as on CSSCI indexed journal. In addition, her research papers have been accepted by many international associations and organizations, such as International Visual Sociology Association; Canadian Communication Association and IAMCR. Dr. Huang was invited to give presentations on her works in many countries, including the United States, The United Kingdom, Canada, New Zealand and Thailand. Apart from teaching and research, Dr. Huang also supervises students participating in competitions. Her students awarded the The First Prize & The excellent prize (Graphic Design Category) on The 6th National Universities Art and Design Competition in 2014 under Dr. Huang’s supervision.
