(M.A., Memphis State University, USA; Acting Programme Director of CTV) For over 30 years, Dominic Man worked as a commercial film producer, multimedia controller, TV program producer, documentary producer/director, and creative writer and translator. He also worked as an English language instructor concentrating in Teaching English as a Second Language. He joined United International College in spring of 2008. Courses taught: Production and Media Management, Film and Television History, Studies in Asian Cinema: India, Korea, Japan, Aesthetics of Film and Corporate Video Production.

(PhD, Macau University; Associate Dean of DCC; Associate Professor of CTV) Wei Jiang was officially selected by China Film Foundation to be a visiting scholar at the School of Cinematic Arts, University of Southern California on the T. C. Wang Fellowship. Before he went to pursue his PhD study at the University of Macau, he had professional experience in the Chinese film industry, having worked as director’s assistant, assistant director, art department coordinator, and other positions for various film and TV productions, such as John Woo’s Red Cliff I & II, Mikael Hafstorm’s Shanghai, Jin Yimeng’sSophie’s Revenge, and Jiang Wen’s Let the Bullets Fly.

(Ph.D., University of Lugano and Zurich - Prodoc; Associate Professor of CTV) Vincenzo De Masi for 4 years was Associate professor in Art and Media Technology for New York Institute of Technology where he taught Cinema, TV and New Media (for graduate and undergraduate students). He obtained his Ph.D. at University of Lugano and Zurich (ProDoc) with a dissertation on Creative industries in Asia focusing on China. In Lugano was assistant professor for several years. His research focuses on Social Media in Asia and VR production . He has published numerous articles and collective books on these subjects.

(M.F.A., School of Film, Ohio University; Associate professor of CTV; Co-Program Director, Producing for Film, TV & New Media Concentration, MA in Communication) Derek Wan received his MFA degree with honors from Ohio University in 1990s. Mr. Wan has extensive industry experience as film director and cinematographer. He has over 40 feature films as director of Photography to his credit and has won many awards. He is the former vice-president of the Hong Kong Society of Cinematographers and has been a judge panelist for HK Film Awards for many years. His Los Angeles based AIO Films produces TV commercials, TV drama series and other forms of entertainment. Mr. Wan has worked at Hong Kong Baptist University as senior lecturer, teaching consultant and program director of the MFA Program since 2010.

(Associate professor of CTV) Benjamin Olin received his Ph.D. with distinction from the department of Cinema Studies at New York University. He earned two master’s degrees from the University of London (Aural & Visual Cultures, Goldsmiths; Poetic Practice, Royal Holloway) and he has a B.A. in American Studies (Literature) from the University of Sussex.

His writing has been published in Art Journal; Framework: The Journal of Cinema and Media; Millennium Film Journal; Jacket 2; and Downtown Film & TV Culture, 1975-2001 (2015). His current book project, “Underground Networks: Artists’ Television in New York,” examines cable-TV shows produced by downtown artists.

Benjamin completed a postdoctoral fellowship at New York University’s College of Arts & Science, and he has taught as an adjunct professor of Cinema Studies at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.

He previously served as a research fellow at the Sarai New Media Initiative in New Delhi—where he co-authored the first in an ongoing series of publications on digital culture within a South Asian context. His research has been funded by NYU’s Corrigan Fellowship; the NYU College of Arts & Science’s Dean’s Dissertation Award; Sarai, Centre for the Study of Developing Societies; and by a UIC Research Development Grant.

Dr. Zhi won Outstanding Academic Performance Award of City University of Hong Kong in year 2015-2016. She has published articles in international conferences such as AEJMC (Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication) and ICA (International Communication Association). (MRes Visual Anthropology, Ljubljana-Stockholm University; Lecturer of CTV) Mr. Alberto Gerosa is a visual anthropologist and artist working with film and performance. The Chinese University of Hong Kong audiovisual library, the Taikwun Centre for Heritage and Arts, and the European Commission archives has acquired his work among others. Since 2007, he has been directing films in more than 25 countries for art exhibition, broadcast, theatrical release and academia. He has been lecturing in visual anthropology, cinema and filmmaking at Antwerp University, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Polytechnic University of Hong Kong and UIC. Since 2015, he is a visiting Scholar at the Image Anthropology LAB in Tokyo University, where he is researching with philosopher Tadashi Yanai.

(MFA in Film Academy of HKBU, MA in Music Department of CUHK)  Miss Christina Lei Cheng Kuok is a part-time lecturer in CTV.  She graduated with Master of Fine Arts in Film Academy and Master of Arts in Music from Hong Kong Baptist University and Chinese University of Hong Kong. She has been working in universities as an animation teacher for more than 7 years. She has previously taught multimedia and animation courses in Design School of Macao Polytechnic Institute, creative media and animation courses in Faculty of Social Sciences in University of Macau, and 3D animation in creative studies and IT courses in Macao Institute for Tourism Studies. Besides, she was invited to give animation & music talks and workshops in different institutions such as Macao Cultural Centre, Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Center (CPTTM), The Outer Harbour Youth Activity Centre in Macao DSEJ, University of Macau – Centre for Continuing Education, music school of Macao Conservatory, Centre of Permanent Education in Macao DSEJ, etc.

Before Ms. LI joined CTV, she worked as a graphic designer in Chicago for two years, and worked at Gree Real Estate as a media planner for one year.
